The tournament is hosted by the Bridge Futbol Alliance, SC’s only US Soccer Development Academy franchise club. Over 150 teams will be representing more than 40 soccer clubs from throughout the eastern seaboard.

Springtime in the Lowcountry (coastal SC) is always worth the trip.  For three years running, Charleston has been selected as a "Top 5 Destination" in the US by the travel industry.  We invite you to make your spring 2009 tournament plans for Charleston. This year, the Bridge Invitational will also serve as a tribute to Robbie Owens who passed away tragically last summer. Robbie played for the Bridge FA USSDA Academy U18 team and West Ashley HS. The tournament will be assuming a new name in 2010, the Robbie Owens Memorial Soccer Tournament. A memorial fund has been set up in his name.

2009 Tournament Details:
The Bridge Invitational is geared for the teams that compete at the Academy, Challenge, Classic, and Premier levels.
Each age group will offer both a Gold (I) & Red (II) division depending on a team’s playing level.

Age groups:
Boys/Girls U9 - U16

Entry Fees:
U9-U10 @ $425.00
U11-U12 @ $475.00
U13-U16 @ $525.00

 Guaranteed Matches: 3

Entry Deadline: March 22 (Extended until April 5)

Lodging:
The tournament is using  Partners in Team Travel  for all of its lodging needs. 
All out of town teams are required to go through PITT for housing
in order to be accepted into the tournament.

Please remember that it is the height of the tourism season.
