Justin Watson, BFA U18 Academy, selected for U18 MNT training at Home Depot Center in April
Gale Abossoumonde and Amobi Okugo were both part of the U.S. U-20 MNT that recently qualified for the FIFA U-20 World Cup with a second place finish in the CONCACAF Championship in Trinidad & Tobago. Including that duo, nine players on the roster were part of the U-17 Men’s National Team Residency Program, including FIFA U-17 World Cup veterans Gregory Garza and Kofi Sarkodie. Garza, currently part of Sporting Lisbon’s youth system, is also the only European-based player on the roster.
