9/20 Schulz FC-4 BFA-3

The second half saw Schulz go ahead 4-2 on a weird free kick from 40 yards out that appeared not to be touched by anyone and found the corner of the net.  Schulz than looked for the knockout punch but could not put BFA away.  BFA gained momentum in the second half  when substitutions Nick Currie, Brandon Chambers, Jack Alderman &  and Jair Castillo came in to provide some needed fresh legs and a fresh outlook.  Castillo’s first touches saw him rip a ball off the crossbar and give BFA some life.  Nick Currie scored on a good shot from 16 yards out to make it 4-3.  BFA would have opportunities to get back level with Schulz but this was not to be.
Brisson’s take, "Similar to our first game we were not nearly strong enough on the defensive side of the ball as a collective unit. Schulz was a much more talented opponent individually and athletically than we played in our first match.  It was exciting soccer if you are a fan but as a coach losing two games 4-3 is frustrating.  This is going to be a much harder season for this team than last year, but if we fully commit as a unit we can turn this thing around and get our first win."  Schulz improves to 3-1 and BFA drops to 0-2.
