Brisson’s take, “We have scored 8 goals in games but the problem is we have given up 11.  We have lost each game after scoring first in each match by 1 goal.  The level this year is much improved from what this team saw last year at the U16 level.  It is time for our team and individuals to step up and be accounted for.  Defensively as a team we have a lot of work to do but some of our defensive breakdowns are being caused by fatigue and our inability to sustain possession over stretches of the game.  Offensively, we are able to score goals right now, so our work will be on better organization and possession throughout the team.  The
Development Academy allows us the venue to play 30-35 high quality matches where we can work on our mistakes and build as a team throughout the season.”
