Bridge FA invites the soccer community to catch the excitement of US Soccer Academy soccer! These U16 & U18 players represent the best soccer talent in the country. From the Academy players will emerge our future collegiate and professional stars. 

BFA kicks off its 2007-08 Academy League season on Saturday, 10/13 at the First Baptist School’s athletic facility behind the Bayview Soccer Complex on James Island (off of Fort Johnson Rd). Bridge FA will be competing in the Atlantic Conference which includes the following clubs: Richmond Kickers, Virginia Rush (Va. Beach), CASL (Raleigh), Richmond Strikers, Greensboro YSA, North Meck SC (Charlotte), and South Charlotte SC. BFA will play each club home and away plus additional matches against teams from the Great Lakes Conference (see left side tab for all 64 teams/conferences) and several showcase events. The season will run through July 2008 culminating with the Academy Nationals featuring the 8 Conference champions. The Academy teams will play over 30 matches during the 2007-08 season.

US Soccer Development Academy
On Friday, 10/5, the Bridge FA U16 & U18 Academy teams travel across the country to Carson, CA to compete in the US Soccer Academy Fall Showcase at the Home Depot Center-home of the US National Teams.  A total of 38 matches will be played during the weekend showcase, which is expected to draw college coaches and scouts from across the country. Additionally, national staff coaches will use the Fall Showcase to identify players for places in upcoming national team camp. Good luck boys!
